Caps & Closures Analysis Testing

Stress Engineering Services offers in-depth expertise in developing and trouble-shooting sealing systems. In fact, we are the most published company worldwide on the design and optimization of seal performance. Our broad base of experience includes sealing systems used in consumer, medical, automotive, and aerospace applications. We are uniquely capable of using nonlinear computational and analytical methods to predict local contact seal pressures.

This work is supported by custom test methods developed to measure seal performance as a function of material selection, gasket or liner type temperature, application torque, and frictional conditions. We have also developed methods to account for rapid thermal transient conditions such as autoclave sterilization, hot-fill processing and refrigeration.
